Terms & Conditions

Last updated:

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all vehicle sales, finance arrangements, part-exchange transactions, and after-sales services provided by Mayfair All in 1 Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales, with our premises at 135–147 Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 1SF. Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing a vehicle or using our services.

Part A — Vehicle Sales

A1. Vehicle Descriptions

All vehicles are described to the best of our knowledge and belief. Mileage readings are taken from the odometer and are believed to be accurate. We recommend that buyers carry out their own independent inspection before purchase. We are happy to arrange a pre-purchase inspection by a third-party mechanic at the buyer's cost.

A2. Pricing

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice and are valid only at the time of enquiry. A vehicle is only reserved once a deposit has been received and a sale agreement has been signed.

A3. Deposits

A deposit may be required to reserve a vehicle. Deposits are non-refundable if you withdraw from the purchase without good reason. If we are unable to complete the sale (e.g. the vehicle is found to have a material defect not previously disclosed), your deposit will be refunded in full.

A4. Payment

Full payment must be received before a vehicle is released. We accept bank transfer, debit card, and approved finance. We do not accept cash payments above the legal limit. Cheques are not accepted. Title to the vehicle passes to the buyer only upon receipt of cleared funds.

A5. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal use), your statutory rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Vehicles must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a fault arises within 30 days of purchase, you have the right to a full refund. Between 30 days and 6 months, we have the right to attempt one repair before a refund or replacement is offered. After 6 months, the burden of proof shifts to the consumer to demonstrate the fault existed at the time of purchase.

A6. Trade Sales

Vehicles sold to trade buyers are sold as seen. Consumer Rights Act protections do not apply to trade purchases. Trade buyers are responsible for carrying out their own due diligence prior to purchase.

A7. HPI & Provenance Checks

We carry out HPI checks on all vehicles we sell. We will provide you with the HPI certificate upon request. While we take all reasonable steps to ensure vehicles are free from outstanding finance, stolen status, or write-off history, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party data.

Part B — Finance Arrangements

B1. Credit Broker Status

Mayfair All in 1 Ltd is a credit broker, not a lender. We introduce customers to a panel of lenders and may receive a commission for doing so. The existence and nature of any commission will be disclosed to you upon request. Finance is subject to status and is available to UK residents aged 18 and over.

B2. Finance Products

We can introduce you to the following finance products:

  • Hire Purchase (HP): Fixed monthly payments over an agreed term. You own the vehicle outright at the end of the agreement once all payments are made.
  • Personal Contract Purchase (PCP): Lower monthly payments with a final optional balloon payment. At the end of the term, you can pay the balloon to own the vehicle, return it, or use any equity as a deposit on a new vehicle.
  • Personal Loan: An unsecured loan arranged through a lender, allowing you to purchase the vehicle outright.

B3. Finance Illustrations

Any finance figures shown on our website or in our showroom are representative examples only and do not constitute a finance offer. Actual rates and terms will depend on your individual circumstances and the lender's assessment. A written quotation will be provided before you enter into any finance agreement.

B4. Credit Searches

Applying for finance will result in a credit search being carried out by the lender. This may affect your credit score. We recommend you check your eligibility before applying.

B5. Cooling-Off Period

Under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a regulated finance agreement without penalty. If you exercise this right, you must repay the credit advanced plus any accrued interest within 30 days.

Part C — Part Exchange

C1. Valuations

Part-exchange valuations are provided based on the information you supply and are subject to physical inspection of the vehicle. A valuation is not a guaranteed offer until confirmed in writing after inspection. Valuations are valid for 7 days or until the vehicle is inspected, whichever is sooner.

C2. Condition & Disclosure

You must disclose all known defects, damage, outstanding finance, or other material information about your part-exchange vehicle. If undisclosed issues are discovered during inspection, we reserve the right to revise or withdraw our offer. Providing false or misleading information may constitute fraud.

C3. Outstanding Finance

If your part-exchange vehicle has outstanding finance, we can arrange settlement with your lender as part of the transaction. Any shortfall between the settlement figure and our valuation will be added to the balance due on your purchase. Any equity will be deducted from the purchase price.

C4. Transfer of Ownership

You must be the registered keeper and legal owner of the part-exchange vehicle (or have authority to sell it). You must provide all relevant documentation including the V5C logbook, service history, and any spare keys at the time of handover.

Part D — After-Sales & Warranties

D1. Statutory Warranty

All vehicles sold to consumers are covered by the statutory protections under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (see A5 above). These rights are in addition to any additional warranty we may offer.

D2. Additional Warranty

Where an additional warranty is offered, the specific terms, duration, and covered components will be set out in a separate warranty document provided at the time of sale. Additional warranties are provided by third-party warranty providers and are subject to their own terms and conditions.

D3. Complaints

If you have a complaint about a vehicle or our service, please contact us in the first instance at +44 7417 413071 or via our contact form. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 3 business days and resolve them within 14 business days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme.

Part E — General

E1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

E2. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

E3. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any written sale agreement, finance agreement, and warranty documentation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mayfair All in 1 Ltd in relation to your purchase.

E4. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your purchase or enquiry will apply to that transaction.

For any questions about these Terms, please contact us or call +44 7417 413071.
